How Is Laminate Veneer Treatment Performed?
During treatment, local anesthesia is administered before the tooth-shaping (shaving) step, so patients generally do not experience pain or discomfort. The duration of treatment varies depending on the number of teeth to be treated and their condition. However, under normal circumstances, the procedure is completed within three sessions.

Consultation & Planning:
The patient’s expectations are discussed, a mock-up is designed, and necessary examinations are performed to evaluate the potential outcome. -
Tooth Preparation:
At the second appointment, local anesthesia is applied to prevent discomfort. While the mouth is numb, the teeth are gently shaped to prepare them for veneers. -
Taking Impressions:
A precise measurement of the teeth is taken for the fabrication of the veneers. -
Laboratory Phase:
The teeth are prepared for the next step, which usually takes about one week. Mild sensitivity may occur during this period. -
Trial / Fitting:
Once the veneers are ready, a trial fitting is performed to check the color and alignment with the natural teeth. -
Bonding:
After both the dentist and patient approve the appearance, the veneers are permanently bonded to the teeth. This final bonding process takes approximately two hours, completing the treatment.
